When it comes to finding a unique beer at a Major League Baseball stadium, no state offers more than Ohio.
That is the conclusion of a study by the Washington Post, which ranked the best beer in baseball and published its findings Friday. Cincinnati's Great American Ball Park ranked second while Progressive Field in Cleveland checked in No. 3.
Sure, Safeco Field (home of the Seattle Mariners) topped the list, but by our count two is always better than one, so Ohio can claim supremacy over Washington and every other state.
How did the Buckeye State do it? The Reds' addition of the new Brewery District this year with more than 50 taps featuring craft beers from the Cincinnati area, other parts of Ohio and the nation was a big help to the cause.

GABP and Progressive Field tied for first in quality of beers available while the Reds ranked No. 2 for uniqueness (rating how many breweries were represented there but at no other parks) and the Indians were fifth in "locality.
Add it all up and there is no state with a better combo.
