Texas Rangers radio play-by-play man Eric Nadel has been tabbed the 2011 Texas Sportscaster of the Year Award winner by the National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association.
This marks the third-consecutive time and seventh overall that Nadel has won the honor.
Bob Costas of NBC Sports and the Major League Baseball Network won the national award.
Nadel is beginning his 34th year with the Rangers and 18th as the lead radio personality.
