The Bengals have officially declared cornerback Terence Newman out for Sunday night's game in Pittsburgh.
Newman, who has a sprained MCL, has not practiced all week.
BenJarvus Green-Ellis and Vontaze Burfict returned to practice on Friday after missing practices this week due to illness. Both are expected to play this weekend against the Steelers. Linebacker James Harrison sat for a second consecutive practice with the same bug that affected Green-Ellis and Burfict, but all three are listed as probable.
