WELLINGTON, New Zealand (AP) All Blacks winger Nehe Milner-Skudder will undergo shoulder surgery which will cause him to miss the remainder of the Super Rugby season.

The Wellington Hurricanes on Wednesday said Milner-Skudder dislocated his left shoulder during last weekend's win over the Auckland-based Blues.

Milner-Skudder made his test debut last year and scored seven tries in eight tests during 2015. He was one of the stars of last year's Rugby World Cup, scoring a try in the final in which New Zealand beat Australia to retain the title.

Milner-Skudder was voted World Rugby breakthrough player of the year.
