Full field of 14 horses for Rebel Stakes at Oaklawn

HOT SPRINGS, Ark. (AP) A full field of 14 horses has been entered for the Rebel Stakes at Oaklawn.

The $900,000 race on Saturday is a prep for the $1 million Arkansas Derby and offers points to the top four finishers toward qualifying for the Kentucky Derby.

The top three finishers from the Southwest Stakes - Suddenbreakingnews, Whitmore and American Dubai - are among the horses entered Wednesday.

Creator drew the inside post while Suddenbreakingnews will start on the outside from post 14.

The Rebel field from the rail out is Creator, Ralis, Cupid, Discreetness, Siding Spring, Spikes Shirl, Madtap, American Dubai, Z Royal, Gray Sky; Cutacorner, Whitmore, Cherry Wine and Suddenbreakingnews.

Morning-line odds will be announced on Thursday.
