(LONGWOOD, FL) -- FOX Sports Florida will be featuring the Central Florida All-Star football game on FOXSportsFlorida.com via Prep Zone, presented by Checkers. Dave Reynolds will call the game, alongside color commentator John Kaleo, and Amy Campbell will be reporting from the sidelines.

On Thursday, Dec. 12th, at 7:30 p.m., Prep Zone will be at Lake Brantley High School in Seminole County for the 15th edition of the Central Florida All-Star football game. The West team, composed of players from Orange, Osceola, Lake, and Sumter counties, features a couple of high-powered passers in Oak Ridge's Jerrell Antoine (UMass) and West Orange's Hayden Griffitts, who combined to throw for nearly 5,800 yards and 64 TDs this season. Defensively, the West will be led by a trio of standouts in defensive lineman Trent Harris (Winter Park High, Miami commit), defensive back Davonte Solomon (South Lake, Florida A&M) and linebacker Mikiece Adams (Osceola, FAU).

The East team, which features the best of host Seminole, Brevard, Flagler and Volusia counties, will counter with a stout defense of its own, featuring the outstanding defensive line duo of Lake Mary's Adam Torres (Florida State) and Oviedo's Tyree Owens (West Virginia), along with linebackers Kailik Williams (Mainland) and Greg Gooch (Lyman), who each hold fistfuls of Division I offers. On offense, Merritt Island quarterback Nick Smith (Buffalo, Marshall, FIU) and Mainland running back Tre Rodriguez (Wisconsin, Louisville) lead what looks to be an explosive unit.

In addition to the live stream on FOXSportsFlorida.com, the game will be re-aired on Sun Sports on Thursday, Dec. 26 at 5:00 p.m.

Stephen Grecsek of OUR TEAM says, "We are thrilled to be featuring this game and showcasing Central Florida's talent. We'd like to give a special thank you to Checkers, once again, for their loyalty and sponsorship."
