As the exclusive local television partner of the Miami HEAT, Miami Marlins, Florida Panthers, Tampa Bay Rays, Orlando Magic and Tampa Bay Lightning, FOX Sports Florida and FOX Sports Sun televise over 700 live events annually. From March 23 through April 5 this year, our networks will produce and televise 45 games. Due to contractual obligations and scheduling conflicts among our team partners when seasons overlap, games that are traditionally seen on FOX Sports Florida and FOX Sports Sun are made available on our second channel: FOX Sports Florida alternate and FOX Sports Sun alternate.

With multiple teams and just two channels, scheduling conflicts are inevitable, particularly this time of year. When there is a conflict, we work diligently to ensure that Florida sports fans can watch their favorite teams this time of year in two ways. One always-there method to watch your favorite team when there is a conflict is via live streaming. The FOX Sports App, FOX Sports GO and www.foxsportsgo.com all offer live streaming for free with authentication. The other method is the FOX Sports Florida and FOX Sports Sun alternate channels.

The alternates are available to all cable and satellite providers that carry our networks. While some providers offer the alternates as a 24-hour full-time HD channel, others choose to activate the alternates in conflict situations, or designate a local channel to show the events. As our networks continue to expand their programming lineup, FOX Sports Florida Alternate and FOX Sports Sun Alternate become an essential outlet to televise more sports programming.
