Press release from the Charge:

The Canton Charge have reacquired forward Shane Edwards following the completion of his 10-day contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers, the team announced today. To create a roster spot for Edwards, the team waived guard Ben Uzoh due to season-ending injury.

Edwards saw action in two games with the Cavaliers, scoring two points and grabbing two rebounds in 12 minutes. He has appeared in 40 games (32 starts) for the Charge this season, averaging 13.3 points on .547 shooting and 5.5 rebounds in 28.2 minutes per game. He has scored 15 or more points 15 times, including in 9 of his last 11 games, and has two double-doubles for the year. Edwards was the sixth player in Charge history to receive a GATORADE Call-Up to the NBA and third this season (Arinze Onuaku- Cavaliers, Jorge Gutierrez- Nets).

Uzoh played in 13 games for Canton (one start) and averaged 7.8 points on .378 shooting with 2.4 rebounds and 2.6 assists in 21.2 minutes per game. The Charge roster now stands at 10.
