College Basketball Hot List: Week of Jan. 8-14

The key word this week in college basketball is versatility.

The guys who got hot this week can do it all. They can shoot from distance and finish inside. They can take the ball upcourt, or play off screens and find spaces in zones. Attaining the "tweener" label is dreaded at the pro level, but the college game necessitates players who don’t necessarily have a set position.

More than anything, these players will do whatever it takes to win, and during crucial conference contests, their coaches call on them to do anything under the sun.

During the past seven days, the players listed here rose above the rigid definitions of a position or a stereotypical style of play and filled up the box score, helping their teams to victory.
