Clark helps Tulsa rally past Tulane

TULSA, Okla. (AP) -- Jordan Clark scored 16 points and Tulsa rallied in the second half to defeat Tulane 60-56 Wednesday night.

The Golden Hurricane (10-9, 3-2 Conference USA) trailed by seven at halftime but opened the second half on a 16-7 run. The teams were tied at 43-all with 9:10 left in the game when Tulsa went on another spurt, outscoring the Green Wave 11-1 to take its biggest lead of the game, 54-44, on Steven Idlet's 3-pointer with 5:35 remaining.

Idlet had 13 points and Scottie Haralson scored 12 for Tulsa. Idlet also had five blocks, as did Kodi Maduka.

Ricky Tarrant had 15 points, Jordan Callahan 14 and Josh Davis 10 for Tulane (12-6, 0-4), which has lost five of its last six games after starting the season 11-1.

Tulane was playing without leading scorer Kendall Timmons, who is out for the season after undergoing surgery Monday to repair his right Achilles tendon.
