Texas safety Leroy Scott and fullback Chet Moss have been dismissed from the Longhorns team, coach Charlie Strong announced on Sunday night.
Both seniors violated team rules, according to a release.
Scott, appeared in 38 games over the last three seasons and was the team's co-special teams player of the year in 2013. He made 17 tackles and 2.5 tackles for loss last season.
Moss, a former linebacker, started one game and appeared in 27 games over the last three seasons. He made one tackle last season and did not appear in the final three games.
