Call me maybe: Chael Sonnen outs Stephanie McMahon's cell number during an interview

Outside of being a former three-time title contender in the UFC as well as the regular host for UFC Tonight, Chael Sonnen also happens to be good friends with former WWE champion and MMA enthusiast CM Punk.

Sonnen was actually going to have Punk walk out with him for his fight in Chicago, which is the wrestler's hometown, two years ago when he faced Michael Bisping at the second ever FOX UFC Saturday card before his bosses at the WWE put the kibosh on him being involved.

Currently, Punk is embroiled in a dispute with the WWE (real or fake, I'm not sure) and there's been speculation about him coming back to wrestle at the biggest event of the year, Wrestlemania.  Well leave it to Chael to find a way to get involved in this situation because he recently appeared on a Canadian sports show called 'Off the Record' where he was asked about his good friend Punk and the chances that he will compete at Wrestlemania.

Instead of speculating or even putting in a call to Punk while on the air, he instead offered up the personal cell phone number for WWE Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon, daughter of WWE owner Vince McMahon.

"I don't know if Punk's going to wrestle at Wrestlemania, but I know who does. You want to know who knows? Stephanie McMahon -- and if you want the answer to that question viewers, call her on her personal and private cell phone number," Sonnen said.  "There's no 555, this is her personal cell phone number.  And have her tell Triple H I just played the game."

Triple H is McMahon's real life (and onscreen) husband Paul Levesque, who is also an executive at WWE as well, and whose nickname happens to be 'The Game'.

The host of the interview Michael Landsberg immediately freaked out telling Sonnen that he can't actually give away someone's cell phone number on TV, but the former light heavyweight and middleweight contender wasn't having any of that nonsense.

"We the people make that decision and we the people just did it," Sonnen said.

The actual number was blurred out when the interview aired, but Landsberg apparently called the cell just to see if it was actually real and it turns out Sonnen was right on the money.  As of yet, neither McMahon or Triple H have responded to Sonnen's on air jab.

Since Wanderlei Silva has still not signed for his fight against Sonnen in May, maybe Triple H is willing to step up and accept the challenge to defend his wife's honor.   'The American Gangster' versus 'The Game' -- I smell pay-per-view buys from here.
