CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The Preseason All-ACC projections and projected standings were released Wednesday afternoon at ACC Media Day in Charlotte. I voted, and the media's overall votes -- if different from mine -- are in parentheses.

Noteworthy results included: Duke received 41 of 65 first-place votes, North Carolina was second with 12 votes while last year's champion Virginia got seven votes. Just be sure to save for reference so you can make fun of the media for how wrong we all were at the end of the season.
