Just a few days into the shortened season, Florida's NHL teams completed a trade, the Tampa Bay Lightning announced Monday.
The Lightning will get forward Jean-Francois Jacques from the Florida Panthers in return for future considerations, according to a release.
Jacques, 27, has played parts of seven NHL seasons, six of them with Edmonton and 2011-12 with Anaheim. He has played in 24 games with the San Antonio Rampage of the AHL this season.
