'Big mistake': Magic Johnson takes shot at Rockets after team fires Kevin McHale as coach

BY Brett Smiley • November 18, 2015

Houston has some problems, one of them apparently with Kevin McHale who is now the former Rockets head coach.

Expected to be a Western Conference contender after reaching the conference finals back in May as the No. 2 seed, the Rockets (4-7) have floundered early, opening the season with three consecutive 20-point losses, followed by four wins, followed by four losses in a row.

Johnson didn't name specific names but a pretty easy game of connect the dots leads to center Dwight Howard, a former Laker long accused of being a "coach killer," and James Harden, who felt he should have won the MVP award last season, not Stephen Curry.
