Badgers stroll past Minnesota State-Mankato

MANKATO, Minn. -- The visiting Wisconsin men stormed past Minnesota State-Mankato Friday, 4-0, in WCHA hockey action.

Wisconsin got an early goal from Mark Zengerle, midway through the first period, and never looked back.

Zengerle ended the night with two points, as did Badgers teammate Jake McCabe, as McCabe doled out a pair of assists.

Wisconsin's main highlight came courtesy of netminder Joel Rumpel, who produced 36 saves on the night.

With their win, the Badgers improved to 10-9-2 on the year. Minnesota State dropped to 6-16-1.
