We've had lots of awkward fan photos, but we've never had awkward championship ring photos before at OKTC.
LSU won the 2012 SEC championship.
No one can dispute that accomplishment.
But LSU didn't win the national championship.
So how do you deal with this dilemma when it comes time to issue SEC title rings to the team?
By pointing out that you're number two.
Yep, that's awkward.
But at the same time, this has the crazy genius of Les Miles stamped all over it.
What better way to motivate your team all offseason than by issuing them rings that demonstrate their second place finish?
Granted, it's also possible that Miles didn't even known these rings were made, but I prefer to believe this was his decision.
And so do you.
