LAFAYETTE, La. -- Ryan Aguilar and Louis Boyd each had two RBI as Arizona beat Louisiana-Lafayette 6-3 on Monday to force a Game 7 at the NCAA Tournament's Lafayette Regional.
Aguilar doubled to right with the bases loaded in the first inning for a 2-0 lead with no outs. After a pitching change, Bobby Dalbec dropped a bunt to make it 3-0.
In the second inning, Arizona (41-21) had runners on the corners with no outs, and Boyd bunted down the first base line to score Cesar Salazar. Cody Ramer roped a single up the middle to score Jared Oliva for a 5-0 lead.
Joe Robbins hit a two-run homer -- his 10th of the season -- in the eighth to pull Louisiana-Lafayette (43-20) to 6-3. Arizona loaded the bases on walks with one out, but Kennon Fontenot grounded into a double play.
The teams will face off later Monday, with the winner advancing to the best-of-three super regional.
