1. Yan Gomes' hit streak: He is currently in a 13-game hit streak. During the month of July, he's hitting .329 (28-85) with five home runs and 17 RBI.

2. Good July for Trevor Bauer: Since July 8th (when Bauer last faced the Yankees), five of Bauer's six starts have been quality starts.

3. Wild Card Standings: The Indians are currently 3.5 games back of the Yankees.  Both teams are still in the hung for the second AL Wild Card spot, with the Yankees currently a half game back of the Royals.
