US volleyball in Brazil's pool

The top-ranked US women's volleyball team is in Pool B with No. 2 Brazil and No. 5 China for the London Olympics.

The international volleyball federation confirmed the women's and men's six-team pools for the London Games on Tuesday.

The women's Pool A incudes third-ranked Japan and No. 4 Italy together with host Britain.

Men's Pool A features third-ranked Italy and fourth-ranked Poland, along with Britain. Pool B is led by top-ranked Brazil, which will be joined by No. 2 Russia and No. 6 United States.
