SOCHI, Russia (AP) The United States will play host Russia for ice sledge hockey gold at the Sochi Paralympics after beating Canada 3-0 on Thursday.

Declan Farmer scored twice and assisted on Joshua Pauls' goal as Canada was denied a chance to claim all the ice hockey titles across the Olympics and Paralympics in Sochi. The Canadians won the Olympic men's and women's gold medals last month.

In Saturday's final, the U.S. will be trying to avoid a repeat of a 2-1 loss to Russia in the preliminary round on Tuesday.

U.S. coach Jeff Sauer says ''for what I've heard from my wife and a lot of people back home we're getting more exposure than ever before in the United States ... it's great for hockey at all levels.''
