LILLEHAMMER, Norway (AP) Austria's Wolfgang Kindl notched his country's first victory in the men's singles for 10 years at a luge World Cup event on Sunday.
Russia's Semen Pavlichenko was second and Dominik Fischnaller of Italy came third on the 1994 Olympic track.
Germany's Olympic and world champion Felix Loch finished eighth but continues to lead the overall standings with 705 points, ahead of Fischnaller with 492 and U.S. Chris Mazdzer, who finished fourth in Lillehammer, with 489.
Kindl secured Austria's first victory since Markus Kleinheinz won in Altenberg, Germany in 2005.
In the team relay, Olympic champion Germany won its fifth victory in as many races - securing the World Cup title before the final race of the season in Sochi, Russia, on March 1.
Russia was second on Sunday, followed by Austria.
Germany, the defending champion, now has 500 points and cannot be overtaken in the overall standings.
The U.S. team -fifth in Lillehammer - is second with 345 points followed by Russia with 335.
