4 bid to use Olympic Stadium after London Games

Four groups have submitted bids to use London's Olympic Stadium after the games, including Premier League club West Ham.

An original deal for the east London club to lease the $750 million stadium was scrapped last year amid legal wrangling.

Instead, companies are bidding to secure leases of up to 99 years to use the stadium from 2014 after it is downsized from 80,000 to 60,000 seats.

The London Legacy Development Corporation, which will decide the tenants, says it will ''assess the bid submissions'' before picking a winner.

The identities of the other bidders weren't immediately known. Multiple companies could use the stadium, which includes a running track.

West Ham was promoted back to the Premier League in May.
