Arizona Coyotes Begin Six Game Road Trip
After a stirring victory in the home opener, the Arizona Coyotes hit the road for two weeks on the East Coast.
Five rookies, some cagey vets, and a few names in between make up the current Arizona Coyotes roster.
They’re all loading up for a six game road trip to the East Coast which will prove an early test of their mettle.
For fans, there are subplots aplenty to follow throughout.
How much time will Louis Domingue get in net? Are there any lingering effects to Jakob Chychrun nasty collision on Saturday night? Will we see more out of Anthony Duclair, who was basically a non-factor against the Flyers?
Will Dylan Strome finally crack the lineup, and could his first game be against the New York Islanders and his brother Ryan Strome on Friday night?
More from Howlin' Hockey
Part of the reason Strome is sitting is because the Yotes are convinced they have constructed a team that can contend for the playoffs.
NHL analysts and pundits disagree.
This road trip could go a long way towards providing a clearer answer for fans and management, however.
A hot start would help this young team’s confidence soar heading into November.
