Warriors fans are asking Patriots fans how to get over devastating title losses

As strange as it sounds, the New England Patriots and Golden State Warriors have something in common. Like the Warriors, the Patriots posted one of the greatest regular seasons in NFL history, going 16-0 only to lose in the Super Bowl.

The Warriors won an NBA record 73 games this past season, but fell one win shy of a second consecutive NBA title. Despite being separated by 3,000 miles, Patriots and Warriors fans are forced to cope with crushing defeats on the brink of greatness.

Patriots fans have dealt with the feeling for years, but Warriors backers are new to the disappointment. As a result, Warriors fans are asking New England Redditors for advice on coping with the loss.

Patriots fans are probably still getting over the loss to the Giants in Super Bowl XLII and would rather not talk about it anymore. 

One day, both fanbases will get over their respective defeats. It will just take some time -- a lot of time.
