Vote for the greatest Jaguar
Mark Brunell
Brunell hit the ground running in Jacksonville, guiding the Jaguars to the playoffs three times in the franchise's first four seasons. He reached the AFC Championship Game twice and was selected for the Pro Bowl three times, being named the game's MVP in 1997. It's a guarantee that Brunell will hold a place of honor in Jacksonville once he retires.
Fred Taylor
Don't call him fragile. The Florida native was drafted ninth overall in 1998 and rushed for 1,223 yards and 14 touchdowns as a rookie. Despite missing several games during his years in Jacksonville, he still compiled 11,271 yards and 62 touchdowns while anchoring the team's running game. He scored a trio of honors in 2007, being selected to the Pro Bowl, earning NFL All-Pro status and winning the FedEx round Player of the Year award.
Maurice-Jones Drew
A bowling ball in a football uniform, this diminutive running back made an immediate impression with the Jacksonville faithful. Primarily used as a kickoff returner at the beginning of his rookie season, his obvious skills made him an invaluable part of the Jaguars. He compiled 941 yards with 13 touchdowns as a runner, and caught 46 passes for another 436 yards and two more touchdowns as a receiver in his first season. He never looked back from there. A Fantasy football owner's dream, he posted back-to-back 1,000-plus-yard rushing seasons in 2009 and 2010 and will be a Jacksonville fixture for years to come.
Jimmy Smith
Smith is in a unique situation, having won a Super Bowl rings with the Cowboys before arriving in Florida via free agency in 1995. A five-time Pro Bowl selection and a two-time All-Pro, Smith was the playmaker catching passes from Mark Brunell over several seasons. He helped the upstart Jaguars to four consecutive playoff appearances and was a two-time NFL All-Pro. He was also selected to the Pro Bowl in five consecutive seasons.
Tony Boselli
The first draft pick in the team's history, Boselli came out of USC and anchored the Jaguars' offensive line for seven seasons. He was a three-time NFL All-Pro and a five-time Pro Bowl selection. In addition, Boselli was named to NFL's 1990s All-Decade Team and was the first player named to The Pride of the Jaguars, the franchise's hall of fame.
