Vontaze Burfict spotted at Bengals practice

Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict made his first public appearance at training camp, working out on the side during Monday's practice.
Burfict hasn't been absent from the practice field the first four sessions as he recovers from microfracture knee surgery. He was seen working with trainers doing short sprints and bungee cord workouts.
"He's progressing good," defensive coordinator Paul Guenther said per ESPN.com. "He's doing everything the trainers are asking him to do. But just like the defense, he's got to put one day on top of another and on top of another."
There is still no timetable for Burfict's return. After signing a lucrative contract extension last summer, Burfict endured an injury-plagued 2014, appearing in just five games due to head and neck injuries before suffering the season-ending knee injury in Week 8 against Baltimore.
