Vikings' backup RBs doubled Adrian Peterson's Week 15 yardage output

Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson did not have his most productive outing in a 38-17 win over the Chicago Bears on Sunday, but his teammates were there to back him up.
While Peterson finished the game with a team-leading 63 rushing yards on 18 carries, Minnesota's three other backs accumulated 127 yards of offense in the Week 15 win.
Peterson hurt his ankle against the Bears and did not catch any passes, so his workload was somewhat abbreviated. His immediate backup, Jerick McKinnon, had a big day with four receptions for a team-leading 76 yards, including a 17-yard touchdown that gave the Vikings a 10-point lead going into the halftime break. McKinnon only had 10 rushing yards on seven carries, though.
Matt Asiata was more effective on the ground than McKinnon with 28 yards on five rush attempts. He also had one catch for a six-yard gain.
Finally, fullback Zach Line had one rush for three yards and a four-yard touchdown reception that put the game on ice with less than two minutes to play.
