HOUSTON (AP) Texans coach Bill O'Brien said defensive end J.J. Watt, who missed a practice this week with a minor back injury, is expected to play against Tennessee on Sunday.
Also along the defensive line, Jadeveon Clowney returned to practice in a limited capacity Thursday. He had an illness and a sprained ankle Wednesday, but is also expected to play for the Texans (2-5).
Guard Brandon Brooks is a game-time decision while tackle Derek Newton is day to day.
Cornerback Kareem Jackson (ankle), receiver Cecil Shorts (hamstring) and linebackers Benardrick McKinney (concussion) and Akeem Dent (hamstring) are out for Sunday.
