Suggs, Steve Smith among 6 Ravens on PUP list

Updated Mar. 4, 2020 6:49 p.m. ET

OWINGS MILLS, Md. (AP) Baltimore Ravens standouts Terrell Suggs, Steve Smith and Elvis Dumervil are among six players who will start training camp on the physically unable to perform list.

Suggs, a six-time Pro Bowl linebacker, and Smith, a 37-year-old receiver, both tore Achilles tendons last season. Dumervil, who had six sacks in 2015, is recovering from an offseason foot surgery.

In announcing the moves Saturday, the Ravens also placed receiver Breshad Perriman, running back Trent Richardson and cornerback Jumal Rolle on the PUP list.

Perriman hurt his knee on the first day of training camp last year and has not yet played with Baltimore. Richardson has a hamstring issue and Rolle is likely out for the season with a torn Achilles.
