Steelers' Keisel added to Pro Bowl

Published Jan. 15, 2011 2:34 p.m. ET

Steelers defensive end Brett Keisel has been added to the AFC Pro Bowl team, the first time he was selected during his nine NFL seasons.

Keisel replaces Colts defensive end Dwight Freeney, who will miss the Jan. 30 game with an injury. Keisel had been a first alternate.

Keisel joins three Steelers teammates - linebacker James Harrison, safety Troy Polamalu and center Maurkice Pouncey - who were chosen previously. Harrison and Polamalu are AFC starters.

Keisel missed six games this season with a hamstring injury.
