Rob Riggle to host NFL Honors when AP awards are announced
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) Emmy-nominated actor and comedian Rob Riggle will host NFL Honors on Feb. 3, when The Associated Press hands out its individual league awards.
The two-hour prime-time show on NBC will take place at Northrop at the University of Minnesota.
Riggle, who recently retired from the Marine Corps Reserve after 23 years of service, has been a staple in comedy for more than 15 years, starring in ''The Hangover,'' ''Step Brothers,'' and ''The Other Guys,'' among his films. He currently can be seen in ''12 Strong,'' his first dramatic turn.
Riggle has been a correspondent on the Emmy Award-winning ''The Daily Show with Jon Stewart,'' and a cast member on ''Saturday Night Live.''
NFL Honors which debuted in Indianapolis in 2012, is held in the Super Bowl city the evening before the AFC and NFC champions meet. The 2018 Pro Football Hall of Fame class also will be introduced during the program.
