Report: Packers LB Perry out 2-4 weeks with shoulder sprain

BY foxsports • October 14, 2015

The Green Bay Packers are dealing with some fresh injuries after last Sunday's win over the St. Louis Rams, and the most severe one seems to be Nick Perry's shoulder injury. The linebacker is expected to miss two to four weeks with a sprained AC joint in his left shoulder, according to Tom Silverstein of the Journal Sentinel.

Nose tackle B.J. Raji (groin) and guard T.J. Lang (knee) were also injured in the Packers' 24-10 romp over the Rams. Of the three newly injured players, head coach Mike McCarthy said that Perry is the furthest away from playing condition, per ESPN's Rob Demovsky.

Perry was off to the hottest start of his four-year career before injuring his shoulder. The former first-round pick has 11 tackles, 3.5 sacks and a forced fumble so far this season. Clay Matthews and Julius Peppers are the only Packers with more sacks than Perry through five games (both have 4.5).
