Report: Dezmen Southward has knee surgery, hoping to be ready for camp

The second-year cornerback for the Atlanta Falcons, Dezmen Southward is looking like he'll miss a bit of time after having to have knee surgery, according to the Twitter of Vaughn McClure from ESPN. 

The good news? Apparently the surgery isn't too serious and the team is hoping to have him back before training camp rolls around. Southward has been one of the more intriguing names this offseason for Atlanta and regardless of the injury, he'll be an interesting player to watch heading into the 2015 season.
