Baltimore is 3-2 on the year and currently in possession of the second AFC Wild Card spot. The Ravens started the season out 3-0, but have since dropped their last two games. Baltimore has fired its former offensive coordinator Marc Trestman. For the Ravens to contend for an AFC Playoffs spot, they’ll have to win a road game in the Meadowlands in Week 6.

New York is 2-3 on the year and in last place in the surprisingly strong NFC East. The Giants won their first two games of the season, but have since lost their last three ball games. Wide receiver Odell Beckham, Jr. has clearly been a distraction for this team. It doesn’t help that first-year head coach Ben McAdoo seems to be in over his head at his new position.

Both teams are on losing streaks. Will it be the Ravens that get to 4-2 or the Giants that get back to .500 at 3-3? It’s not a must-win for either team, but this is a game that a playoff-caliber team needs to win to avoid a potential downward spiral.

According to OddsShark.com, the Giants are laying three points at home. This means that Las Vegas feels that these are two evenly matched teams. The home team is usually given a field goal advantage, all things equal. This should be one of the closest games on the slate in Week 6. Expect the victor to win by no more than four points.
