Philly Brown active, but A.J. Klein remains out for Panthers
SEATTLE (AP) Wide receiver Philly Brown is active for the Carolina Panthers, but linebacker A.J. Klein will miss his fourth straight game with an ankle injury.
The Panthers were hopeful Klein would be able to play Saturday night against Seattle in the NFC divisional playoff game. Rookie Adarius Glanton will continue to start with Klein out.
Brown has started three of the past four games and is Carolina's best deep threat in the pass game. He suffered a shoulder injury against Arizona last week.
Seattle tight end Tony Moeaki was inactive after suffering a calf injury in practice this week. Moeaki went through an extensive running test about 2 1/2 hours before kickoff, but was held out. Moeaki's injury leaves Seattle with two healthy tight ends: Luke Willson and Cooper Helfet.
