For the past two decades, Peyton Manning has made quite the name for himself on the football field. The initiative was announced during halftime of the game between the Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos game, two teams Manning led to Super Bowl wins. The future Hall of Famer will be all over the place once he gets to China, as his itinerary consists of trips to Shanghai, the Great Wall, the Forbidden City, and the Bund in Shanghai.

On Sunday, NFL.com tweeted out a video of Manning speaking to the Chinese people, and showing his excitement for the upcoming trip.

Manning is well-known in China, and was actually the first American athlete to be featured on Gatorade bottles there. In addition to his visits to the historic sites, Manning will also be participating in Fan Forums, where his goal will be to grow China’s youth flag and tackle-football activities.

Another fun activities will be the Gatorade China’s “One Pass to Fame” program, where winners from five cities around China will compete in a passing challenge. The five winners will then battle it out during the Colts vs Jaguars game on October 2 in London. The five winners will get to meet with Manning, and he will then help them with their passing skills.

The winner will earn a trip to Super Bowl LI. Manning is an incredible ambassador for the game, and it looks like he will use his retirement as an opportunity to grow the sport around the world.
