RB Bell to visit Eagles — 6:25 p.m.
The Philadelphia Eagles have scheduled a visit with RB Mike Bell (New Orleans Saints) on Tuesday, a league source told Scout.com.
Bell, a restricted free agent, was tendered at the lowest level at $1.176 million. Should the Eagles submit an offer sheet, the Saints would have seven days to match it. The Saints would not receive any compensation should they decline to match.
The Seattle Seahawks also had Bell in for a visit recently.
Bell, who turns just 27 in April, was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Denver Broncos in 2006. He spent the past two seasons with the Saints.
