McDaniels still stumped by post-game snub

Published Nov. 15, 2010 7:45 p.m. ET

Denver Broncos coach Josh McDaniels says he's still stumped by Kansas City Chiefs coach Todd Haley's post-game snub.

Haley dismissed McDaniels' extended hand after the Broncos' 49-29 rout of the AFC West co-leaders on Sunday and instead wagged a finger in his face before stomping away.

McDaniels' Monday news conference began with several questions about the exchange and McDaniels said he still had no idea why Haley was upset with him. He said Haley hadn't called to apologize or elaborate.

Haley declined to say in his post-game interview exactly why he was angry with McDaniels, whom he'll see again at Arrowhead Stadium on Dec. 5.
