The residents of Flint, Michigan, need help fast. And one Detroit Lions player is here to help.

With the city reeling from a toxic tap-water crisis, defensive end Ziggy Ansah has decided to lend a hand. By donating water. A whole bunch of water:

And don't think he's the only one. Seattle Seahawks running back and Flint native Thomas Rawls plans to donate water when he gets back to town. The entire Washington Redskins defensive line has donated 3,600 bottles as well.

"It's kind of hard when you can't even shower in your own shower," Rawls told Seahawks.com. "You can't drink your own water. It's kind of upsetting to know that I've got nieces' and nephews' skin breaking out. ... It's already hard in the city, just because. But to add that on your plate, it's kind of tough. But one thing I can tell you about the people in Flint is that they're tough and they are built for it."

Kudos to these men for stepping up during a tough time.
