The Detroit Lions have sold out Sunday's game against the San Francisco 49ers.

The Lions announced the sellout Wednesday, their eighth in a row and 10th in the last 11 games. Detroit (5-0) is coming off a big win over Chicago in the Lions' first regular-season Monday night game in 10 years. The Lions said the game earned a 36.4 rating, according to The Nielson Co., making it the most-watched Lions' regular season game in the Detroit television market.

The team said ratings in Detroit are up 25 percent so far this season compared with last year.
