Latest from the NFL: Ward, Williams out with ankle injuries
The latest from NFL games around the league on the 12th Sunday of the season (all times EST):
10:08 p.m.
The Broncos will play the second half against the Patriots without safety T.J. Ward, nose tackle Sylvester Williams and guard Louis Vasquez.
Ward and Williams each went to the locker room in the first half with ankle injuries and Vasquez hurt his groin.
All were ruled out at the start of the third quarter.

9:57 p.m.
Broncos defensive lineman Sylvester Williams and safety T.J. Ward each left the first half of the game against the Patriots with ankle injuries. They were listed as questionable to return.
Also questionable for the rest of the game is New England linebacker Dont'a Hightower, who went out with a knee injury.
The Broncos will kick off to start the third quarter in snowy Denver, trailing 14-7.

7:07 p.m.
Seattle Seahawks tight end Jimmy Graham was carted off the field after injuring his right leg early in the fourth quarter against Pittsburgh.
Graham fell awkwardly while trying to grab a deep pass in the end zone from Russell Wilson. He immediately signaled for trainers and was in obvious pain on the ground. Trainers placed an air cast on Graham's right leg.
- Tim Booth reporting from Seattle.

6:37 p.m.
It's 25 degrees in Denver and heading toward the teens with snow in the forecast for the showdown between the unbeaten New England Patriots (10-0) and the Broncos (8-2).
This will mark just the fifth home game since 2007 that the Broncos have played in subfreezing temperatures.
Meteorologists aren't expecting too much snow, maybe an inch or so. But the last two significant snowfalls at Broncos home games also came on Sunday nights.
In 2002, the Colts won 23-20 in overtime. In 2004, Oakland prevailed 25-24 when the Raiders looked right at home in the white stuff.
- Arnie Stapleton reporting from Denver.

4:55 p.m.
Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald moved past Hall of Famer Steve Largent into 16th place on the NFL's career total yardage list with a 10-yard catch late in the first quarter at San Francisco. Fitzgerald also moved into 12th place on the all-time receptions list, passing Randy Moss.
Fitzgerald entered the game 74 yards away from his seventh career 1,000-yard season and first since 2011.
- Janie McCauley reporting from Santa Clara.

3:21 p.m.
Seattle cornerback Cary Williams was a surprise inactive for the Seahawks against the Steelers on Sunday, a week after getting benched in the second half.
The decision was unexpected and did not appear to be injury related because Williams was not listed on the injury report all week. Williams had started 81 straight games, regular and postseason combined, since the start of the 2011 season with Baltimore. He spent the past two seasons in Philadelphia.
Williams was honest during training camp about the difficulty in learning the technique and style of Seattle's cornerbacks. He shut down Calvin Johnson in Week 4, but that was an exception. Per STATS, Williams is allowing catches on nearly 59 percent of passes thrown his direction.
The return isn't what Seattle expected when it gave Williams an $18 million, three-year contract in the offseason.
The Seahawks did not announce a starter to replace Williams. DeShawn Shead took over last week when Williams was benched and Seattle also has the option of Jeremy Lane, who was activated from the physically unable to perform list on Saturday.

Matt Ryan is hearing some boos in Atlanta.
The Falcons' quarterback has thrown two more interceptions in Sunday's game against the Minnesota Vikings, the second on an ill-advised toss into the end zone after Atlanta had a go-ahead touchdown wiped out by a clipping penalty.
Over the last two weeks, Ryan has been picked five times.
The Falcons are trailing the Vikings 7-3. Ryan has completed 12 of 19 passes for 128 yards for a passer rating of just 43.2. That's not what Atlanta expects out of its franchise quarterback, whose recent slump has become a popular topic among the team's fans.
Everyone is wondering: What's wrong with Matty Ice?
- Paul Newberry reporting from Atlanta.

2:11 p.m.
Falcons rookie Tevin Coleman had the longest run of his young career.
Now he's got to figure out how to hold on to the ball.
Coleman broke off a 46-yard run for Atlanta in the first quarter of Sunday's game against the Minnesota Vikings. But he didn't account for linebacker Anthony Barr hustling back on the play.
Barr punched out the ball from behind with an underhanded swing of his right hand. Vikings teammate Antone Exum pounced on the fumble at the Falcons 21.
This has become a familiar problem for Coleman, who has now lost three fumbles this season.
Coleman started at running back in place of Devonta Freeman, who is sitting out the game after sustaining a concussion the previous week in a loss to Indianapolis.
- Paul Newberry reporting from Atlanta.

1:53 p.m.
Chiefs All-Pro linebacker Justin Houston and Bills rookie running back Karlos Williams both are questionable to return after being injured in the first quarter.
Houston limped off the field with a left knee injury after getting tripped by a teammate while chasing a play. He was face-down on the turf for several minutes before he was eventually helped to his feet. Houston, who had 22 sacks last season, was replaced by Frank Zombo. Houston has 7 1/2 sacks this year.
Williams hurt his shoulder late in the first quarter. He has five rushing touchdowns this season.

1:30 p.m.
Tennessee kicker Ryan Succop missed his first extra point after making 205 in a row.
Oakland's Denico Autry of the Oakland Raiders blocked Succop's extra point in the first quarter after the Titans scored to go up 6-0. The Raiders returned the ball all the way, but an illegal forward pass wiped out the wild return.
It was the first missed extra point for the Titans since 2006. Succop was 18 of 18 this season for Tennessee.
-- Teresa M. Walker reporting in Nashville, Tennessee.
1:30 p.m.
Eli Manning's passes keep going in and out of receivers' hands and resulting in interceptions in New York territory.
And yet the Giants are still in a scoreless tie with the Washington Redskins with first place in the NFC East at stake.
The Giants' first possession ended when Manning's throw was bobbled by Shane Vereen and picked off by linebacker Perry Riley Jr., setting up the Redskins at New York's 47. But the Redskins couldn't take advantage, going three-and-out.
The next time the Giants had the ball, Manning's pass was grabbed by Dwayne Harris, but popped out on a big hit from safety Kyshoen Jarrett, allowing cornerback Will Blackmon to pull in an interception that put Washington at New York's 26. This time, though, Redskins kicker Dustin Hopkins' 51-yard field-goal attempt was blocked.

1:15 p.m.
Nick Foles is back as the St. Louis Rams' starting quarterback with Case Keenum limited as he recovers from a head injury.
Foles started the first nine games for the Rams (4-6), who are ranked last in the NFL in passing yards. He was replaced last week by Keenum, who suffered a head injury during a 16-13 loss at Baltimore and went into the NFL's concussion protocol.
Keenum was cleared to practice but was limited all week, prompting the Rams to go back to Foles for their game against the Cincinnati Bengals (8-2).
