Jets lose out to Jaguars for Pro Bowl running back Chris Ivory

One of the few bright spots for the New York Jets in 2015 apparently won't be returning next season. Running back Chris Ivory will sign with the Jacksonville Jaguars when free agency begins Wednesday, FOX Sports NFL Insider Mike Garafolo confirmed Tuesday.
Ivory is expected to sign a multiyear deal worth more than $6 million per year, according to Gararolo.
Ivory had a breakout season in 2015, eclipsing 1,000 yards rushing for the first time in his six-year career. He rushed for a career-high seven touchdowns, averaged 4.3 yards per carry and was named to his first Pro Bowl.
Ivory, 27, should team with T.J. Yeldon to provide a solid running threat, which should give Blake Bortles more time in the pocket. Bortles had a solid sophomore season, throwing for 4,428 yards to go along with 35 touchdowns and 18 interceptions.
