Jets agree to terms with OL Winters, FB Bohanon

The New York Jets have agreed to terms on four-year deals with two of their seven draft picks: offensive lineman Brian Winters and fullback Tommy Bohanon.

Winters' agent Joel Segal confirmed the agreement Thursday night, but declined to give financial details. The deal is believed to be for close to $3 million.

Winters, a third-rounder out of Kent State, is expected to compete for one of the Jets' two vacancies at guard.

A person familiar with the deal tells the AP that the contract for Bohanon, a seventh-rounder from Wake Forest, is worth $2.2 million. The person spoke on condition of anonymity because the Jets had not announced the deals.

Bohanon will compete with Lex Hilliard and could serve in an H-back role in new coordinator Marty Mornhinweg's offense.
