JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed journeyman guard/center Jacques McClendon and released receiver Rasheed Bailey.

The Jaguars had been looking to add depth to the offensive line after Josh Wells broke his right thumb last week. They also are without backup center/guard Luke Bowanko, who is on the physically unable to perform list with a hip injury.

The 6-foot-3, 324-pound McClendon has appeared in 25 career games with five starts since entering the league as a fourth-round draft pick by Indianapolis in 2010.

McClendon also has spent time with Detroit (2011), Pittsburgh (2012), Atlanta (2013), Jacksonville (2013-14) and Miami (2015-16). During his previous tenure in Jacksonville, McClendon appeared in 18 games with five starts at guard and center.
