VALPARAISO, Ind. - Josh McGregor threw for 320 yards and three touchdowns and Rudell Small ran for three scores as Jacksonville routed Valparaiso 86-7 on Saturday.
It was the highest scoring game for the Dolphins (6-1, 4-0 Pioneer League), beating their record of 55 points against UNC-Pembroke in 2007.
Small, Jacksonville's career rushing leader, ran for a season-high 192 yards as the team rolled to 658 yards of offense.
Jacksonville led 66-7 at halftime. According to the school, the Dolphins set team records for victory margin and for points in a quarter - 38 in the second.
"Everyone contributed to this win today," Jacksonville coach Kerwin Bell, a former quarterback at Florida, told judolphins.com. "Our defense made some big turnovers and scored. Our special teams got a score and our offense was able to move the ball consistently all day."
Jacksonville's defense scored twice - Leonard Smith returned an interception in the first quarter and Taylor Marsh returned one in the second.
The only touchdown for the Crusaders (0-7, 0-4) came in the first quarter when Eric Slenk grabbed a 52-yard pass from Nate Goergen.
B.-COOKMAN 14, S.C. ST. 0: Androse Bell capped a 15-play, 90-yard drive with a 1-yard touchdown run in the third quarter to seal it as visiting Bethune-Cookman remained undefeated.
After a scoreless first quarter, the Wildcats, 6-0 for the first time since 2002, got on the board with a trick play: a 16-yard pass from receiver Maurice Francois to fellow receiver Jevaughn Reams 4:51 before halftime.
"We knew it wasn't going to be a high scoring game," Wildcats quarterback Matthew Johnson told b-cuathletics.com. "It was going to be who made the least mistakes. We did our part, and the defense was the backbone."

Silvester had 18 carries for the Rattlers, who dominated the ground game with 327 rushing yards. He had touchdown runs of 69 yards on Florida A&M's first play from scrimmage and 5 yards with 7:47 left in the third.
