Houston Texans linebacker Reshard Cliett, who missed the entire season with a knee injury suffered during training camp, said last week he hopes to be cleared to participate in the team's offseason workouts beginning in April.

Cliett tore his ACL in August and is coming off shoulder surgery as well.

“I’m really focusing in on my knee, focusing in on my shoulder,” Cliett said. “If I had to give a percentage, I would say I’m 83 to 85 percent. They say I should be cleared for the offseason program.”

The Texans selected the 6-foot-2, 222-pound Cliett in the sixth round of the 2015 draft. He had six sacks as a senior at South Florida in 2014.
