Brown Expected to Play Sunday by Battle Red Blog

Texans fans will recall Brown suffered a torn quad in the regular season finale last year. It remains to be seen how much Brown will play on Sunday in his first game back; Bill O’Brien nebulously referred to “a plan” for Brown, and whether that means Chris Clark will still get the lion’s share of snaps at left tackle in Minneapolis or not is unknown.

It will be a boost to have Brown back no matter what capacity he is able to play in. I hope that he can start and be effective, but he will return against one of the toughest assignments in the league in the ferocious Vikings pass rush.

Miller to be active by Sarah Barshop, ESPN

“He did a nice job this week,” O’Brien said. “Any time you miss time, it’s tough especially on a rookie receiver, but I thought he came back, and he was obviously paying attention while he was out.”

Miller injured his hamstring in Week 2 against the Kansas City Chiefs and returned to practice for the first time this week. He was a full participant in practice Thursday and Friday.

So far this season Miller has two catches for nine yards in limited action. There is no question that he will play a key role in this offense. He needs to get at least ten touches on Sunday because he can make plays.

In perhaps the top matchup of the weekend in the National Football League, the Houston Texans travel to Minneapolis to face off against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday. The two teams have combined for seven wins at the quarter mark of the 2016 NFL season, and have a combined one loss so far.

Here is a breakdown of the top players to take the field on Sunday and more.
