FOX Super 6 NFL, CFB, MLB contest recap: Winners Planning Trips, Charity Donations

Updated Dec. 3, 2025 7:17 p.m. ET

Is there anything more enjoyable than bonding over sports with loved ones while winning some cash?

People get to do exactly that every week with our free-to-play FOX Super 6 contest.

With opportunities to win thousands of dollars, the Super 6 game gives fans a new reason to get excited about sports.

The contest — which has been live since the beginning of the 2023 NFL season — has already given away a ton of cash.

This season alone, more than $256,000 in cash and prizes have been awarded.

Let's take a look at a few of our recent winners.

Shocked Mountaineer

The big winner from college football Week 4 was Tim from Morgantown, WV, who described being in "disbelief" after finding out he'd secured the bag.

"I had to check it at first," the software developer explained. "Then I got excited and double-checked my entry just to be sure."

When it comes to which players Tim cheers for, it's all West Virginia for this Mountaineer.

"I like WVU and any WVU player that makes it into the league."

However, this college football fan acknowledged that his squad has seen better days.

"It's a tough season for the Mountaineers with the starting quarterback out for the year, but I look forward to Year 2 under Rich Rod."

Cheesehead Strikes Gold

Isaac, a Packers fan from Omaha, NE, got lucky in NFL Week 5 and now his friends want to follow in his footsteps.

"One friend that I told was shocked; others wanted to know how to start entering the contests."

Considering Isaac has been playing Super 6 since its beginning, his buddies probably could take some notes from him, including emulating his interesting — albeit successful — strategy.

Isaac found luck by going against his gut.

"I choose the opposite of what I originally think," he admitted.

As for how he'll spend his winnings, Isaac has designed a play that will certainly score points for him, his family and others close to him.

"Half of it, I'm giving to a couple of charities and to my local church. The other half will go toward the closing costs on our first house."

Faithful Patriot

"I am a lifelong Patriots fan and am loving the change with Vrabel and the growth Drake Maye is showing," James from Mandan, ND, explained after winning the FOX Super 6 NFL Week 6 contest.

The red-hot Pats, who look like they are playoff bound, aren't the only ones rolling this season; it was a perfect score that got the civil engineer into winners' row.

"I was in shock. I couldn’t believe that I got all six correct! Most I had [gotten] before that was four out of the six."

In fact, he predicts that the Patriots will win at least one playoff game at the end of this season and will "make the Super Bowl within the next three."

Even though James' loyalty is to New England, he's living in a house divided.

James, the NFL Week 6 contest winner, cheers for the Patriots and the Packers.

"I'll use some of my prize toward a trip to Lambeau for Monday Night Football because my wife is a Packers fan and loves Tucker Kraft since they both are from smaller communities in South Dakota."

Classic Fall Surprise

Rodney was shocked to learn that he had won the MLB World Series Super 6 challenge because when he initially checked where he sat on the leader board, the outlook wasn't promising.

"That day I was ranked 1,807," the baker from St. Louis explained. "That evening or morning I was ranked sixth.

"I was surprised, as I had never ranked in either. I'll be honest, I started shaking and thinking ‘what if.’"

In less than 24 hours, "what if" was a reality.

Rodney from St. Louis won the MLB World Series contest and is cheering for the Bears to make the NFL playoffs.

"I happened to look again the next day and couldn't believe it. I was No. 1 … wow!!! I just couldn't describe it."

With the holidays around the corner, Rodney — who's also a Bears fan — has a couple more items on his wish list.

"Hopefully, Da Bears make the playoffs."

FOX Super 6 Contest Insights

Every week, the contest challenges its participants with fun, knowledge-oriented questions. We dug into the data to highlight a few nuggets from the first few weeks of the college football and NFL seasons, along with the MLB World Series challenge.

Let's dive into it.

College Football Week 4

  • Rankers continue to be our most difficult question each week. During college football Week 4, Tim was part of only 0.65% of entries that correctly ordered Question No. 2: "Rank the teams by who will score the MOST POINTS (highest to lowest):" as Indiana > Arizona State > Baylor > Illinois

NFL Week 5

  • Isaac was part of only 1.5% of players that got all 12 points for Question No. 4: "Predict Jahmyr Gibbs' Total Scrimmage Yards vs. CIN." He correctly predicted Gibbs would have 0-79 yards from scrimmage. This was an especially surprising pick, as Cincinnati had the worst defense in the NFL at the time.

NFL Week 6

  • James was part of only 7% of players who correctly predicted Question No. 1: "Which QB will have the most passing yards?" While the majority of players picked Matthew Stafford to have the most passing yards against Baltimore in Week 6, James bucked the trend and took a risk that paid off with Sam Darnold having the most passing yards vs the Jaguars.

MLB World Series

  • Rodney was part of the 22% of people who received 10 points for correctly choosing "Shohei Ohtani to have more hits as a batter than strikeouts as a pitcher."  This ended up being a tie, as he had both nine strikeouts as a pitcher and nine hits as a batter in the World Series. This was unexpected, as in the NLCS, he had 10 pitching strikeouts to five hits as a batter.

So how can you join in on the fun?

It's simple.

Just look out for our next FOX Super 6 contest, and when it goes live, try your hand to see if you can win.

And remember the best part of it all is that it's free!
