Falcons, WR White agree to 3-year extension worth up to $30 million
Roddy White is staying with the Atlanta Falcons for the foreseeable future.
The star wide receiver has agreed to a three-year extension with the only team he has played for during his nine-year NFL career. The deal is worth a maximum of $30 million and will extend through 2017 season, FOX Sports 1 NFL Insider Mike Garafolo and other media report.
White missed three games last season while dealing with a hamstring injury, and his production was impacted. He finished with 63 catches, his lowest total since his second year in the league. Last season was the first time he was not able to play in all 16 regular-season games.
White has six seasons of more than 1,000 receiving yards and has reached at least 100 catches twice. The four-time Pro Bowl receiver has set team records for career receptions (685) and career receiving yards (9,436).
